Wow, I love the colors on this, and the effects from the wand are so cool! The potion bottles on the table/shelf look really neat too!

I also loved how we got to see, in your story, Snape learning to use the black fire and when it hit me that he had used it to guard the stone years later, it was so cool!

So glad you noted that, lol!! Yes, I forgot in what chapter, but I did write about Snape's first experimentation with Black Fire. I don't believe that particular fire is mentioned anywhere else in the HP series, except as Snape's contribution to guarding the Philosopher's stone, so I assumed that the fire was something he concocted.

Anyway, this piece is an early attempt with my (then new) tablet and is full of mistakes, but anyway, better then nothing, I suppose...

Even if it's an early attempt, it's still really really nice! Like I said, I love the colors ^.^

The black fire wasn't mentioned anywhere else... it still took me a few minutes to realize, "OH MY GOD! I know when that comes into play later!!" There were so many little moments like that in your story (the two way mirrors for example) that made it so epic to read!

Thanks! Second time round ( I lost the whole thing when it was almost finished) the details were a bit easier to do. I'm still getting used to the digital world!
And I hope I got the order of those bottles right - otherwise this would just go to show that I'm a dunderhead without an ounce of logic in my head!!!!

I love how his belt is clearly too large for him

Way too large - must have needed to put in extra holes for the buckle!

So glad you enter a pic !!!! And can I tell you ? I adore when Snape has this kind of body complexion and these eyes, hair and noooooose! I can feel the former little oddball, who grew up as our brilliant and cat-like Potions master. Good job again  :p :) - ooh, this is digital, then ??????

I'm so glad you like it! Yes! It's only my second ever digital deviation. I've abandoned my messy acrylics for a while, and got a wacom tablet instead.
I would've submitted it sooner, but after almost finishing it, I lost everything, because the computor, for reasons best known only to itself, refused to save the it!!
After much colourful language and late hours, I managed to redo averything, and am slowly( very slowly)but surely, getting used to the many settings of Photoshop.
Anyway, I liked the idea of Snape using logic, as well as magic, to protect the Philosopher's stone!

This is not illustrated enough, sure.

I was surprised to see digital from you, it's a good experiment - and you know, I'm still fighting with the computer and Photosho^p. But it's bad, about LOSING it !!!! :frustrated:
