Well, ths is my entry for the 4 th challenge over at Spinner's End.
The theme is not very original , but anyway, this is a Caravaggesque Snape in Chiaroscuro -( or perhaps,'Snape by Lamplight' sounds better!!)
My favourite schools of art are the Old Masters and the Pre-Raphaelites, so it was a bit daunting for a complete amateur like me to think of copying that style. But after dragging my feet for ages, I decided to give it a go.
